There is extreme vibration in this vehicle and it gets worse daily. I believe there is something terribly wrong with this Jeep and it's not due to poor alignment. I also experience very hard / stiff bounce back when on bumpy roads. Something that should not be so bad with this type of Jeep. I recently met a woman with a 2022 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve who said she is experiencing the same exact things. I don't think this is a coincidence.

The vehicle had a recalled for the rear coil springs, took it in for inspection and they gave me a paper at the dealership saying it was placed correctly. After we took it for the inspection my family and I took a trip 6 hours away from home, 15 minutes to getting to our destination the Right Rear Spring detached from the vehicle while driving 45 mph. When the incident happened we all screamed because the vehicle went side to side and got scared even our dog got scared since he was in his kennel at the back of the suv. I-??m so thankful nothing happened to us because if my husband would-??ve been driving above 60mph we could-??ve flipped and got injured. We drove it to the nearest Jeep dealership there was and left our vehicle there to get it fix. We are 6 hours away from where our SUV is at, I-??m scared to drive it back home and the same thing happens. I don-??t feel safe driving that vehicle.

When driving my vehicle, the engine seems to be stalling as a switching from one gear to the other jolts. The engine is slow in responding to speeding up. I feel unsafe specially when attempting to go on the freeway because the car seems to momentarily stop and between switching gears. I called the dealership where I purchased the car and they said that there is no recall for a similar experience of the problem. I called and they said that they would not be able to look at it for a few weeks, and that I was not able to book an appointment and that I would need to drop it off and it would take them approximately about three weeks to look at it and I was not able to get a loaner vehicle from them during that time.

It might be comparable to the Jeep recall that is now in effect, except it might be in the front. The noise is coming from the front driver's side and am experiencing the exact same problem. Every time I reverse, do a three-point turn, drive straight, or make a left or right turn. My Jeep produces a cracking sound as though it's ready to break. In addition to hearing it, I can feel it on my feet and steering wheel. I don't feel protected and I do have 2 little girls. When I took it to the dealership, they weren't sure if it was covered by the recall or if it was something else entirely. I drive no faster than 40 to 45 mph out of fear of colliding with someone not drive on the highway.

While driving down a two lane highway suddenly a large boom occurred. I stopped in the road as I thought I blew a tire. Rather it was the right rear coil spring that popped suddenly and broke off the vehicle. The coil hung behind the tire and wedged with the bumper. Back wheel was unable to move. This occurred on the right rear passenger side. The whole vehicle dipped and dropped down. Because of where the spring was I had to have the car towed. Car is 5 months old. We do not take off road.

I was driving approximately 25-30mph when the passenger rear spring popped off of the vehicle and was completely disengaged from the vehicle. It popped out of the rear of the vehicle into cars behind me. There were no warning lights, no messages, lights, etc... This happened at approximately 4pm 2/21/23. Two components, the spring, and a round plastic piece were retrieved and saved. Vehicle was taken to a dealership as it has less than 7k miles on it. Dealership has not responded or inspected yet. Insurance was notified. I have a rear mounted camera in the vehicle that captured the exact moment of failure and can share that video as well. Dealership was given the video as well.

The Quadra-Lift Air Suspension has failed twice while being driven and once during repairs. I have less than 1000 miles on the vehicle and it has spent more time in the shop than on the road. The system has been inspected and worked on by Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Caliber Collision in Austin, TX. USAA Insurance inspected photos only. There was no prior warning light, only a warning notice light after the system failed.
