Under safety recall N46/NHTSA 13V-252, we forwarded to Chrysler a letter with request for reimbursement for a trailer hitch we replaced in 2011, we were told since the trailer hitch was not oem, that Chrysler was still determining whether a possible reimbursement was available for those with aftermarket trailer hitch, we were told we would get an explanation in writing, this was last December 2013, we are still awaiting a written response, we had sent all proper documentation on our cost to install the trailer hitch in 2011 and still have a copy of the receipt, we had to send the original to Chrysler

I think the NHTSA should fine Chrysler and the dealer as neither care about getting my Jeep fixed.
