Hard start and then engine light came on. Obdii code P302, changed spark plug and coil. Engine knocks and runs rough. Possible valve issue. The consumer stated too much time has gone by, since he received the recall notice regarding the installation of the trailer hitch. Chrysler informed the consumer the parts were not available. However, the consumer had talked to a couple of mechanics who dealer with trailers and hitches and they have the parts either in stock or readily available. Updated 06/19/14

When it rain water is entering the vehicle on the driver side. I have also noticed that the water is running along the outlets plugs of the vehicle. I have checked the vehicle and there is no sign of where the water is entering. I heard that there was a recall for this condition on other models, but didn't include Jeep.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty renegade. My car has less than 25,000 miles on it, but three of the windows have had to be replaced because they fell down into the window well. The driver window is the only one that has not been replaced. Each window has cost me $400 to replace!!

The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Liberty rocky mountain. The vehicle was purchased on August 25, 2005. When the vehicle was driven over 45 mph with the rear passenger window rolled down there was an extremely loud roaring sound that pounded the passenger's ears. He did not realize this when he purchased the vehicle because they did not test drive the vehicle with the windows down. The contact contacted the dealership, and they were aware of this design. The consumer contacted the manufacturer and they referred him to write a letter or E-mail the complaint. The consumer refused because he wanted to speak with someone in person.
