Just purchased the vehicle and could not get the key out of the ignition once I got home and parked the car. Played with it for approx. 30 min. And then the key came out. Drove the car a second time and parked the vehicle and could not get the key out. I went into the house and waited approx. 30 min. Was then able to turn the ignition to click and line up and get the key out. The ignition does not allow you to make the final click once in park to get the key out of the ignition. I went online and seen that the internet was blown up with this problem especially in the 2005 Jeep Liberty as well as other Jeep. I think it is about time they make this a recall!!!!

To whom it may concern, we have tried to have a recall ( N46/NHTSA 13V-252) scheduled and fixed numerous times with Chrysler dealers in the area, only to get answers that they don't have the parts and that they can't complete the recall. In the meantime we have received several safety recalls regarding this matter. We don't know how we are going to have this fixed as it seems nobody want to do it. The car is in use every day and at times long drives on the interstate. Please advise as soon as possible how to proceed.

Greetings, I am writing to you today because I have received several safety recall notices for the same recall #N46/NHTSA 13V-252 beginning in 2013. I have had my name registered with two different dealerships for well over 18 months with no repair work done. I am asking for your assistance in having this issue remedied. I can be reached at [xxx] for any relevant information or communication. Respectfully, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I received a recall notice approximately a year ago. Checked on it in April 2014 with Chrysler by phone. Have checked on it today on your site. No new notification. Still waiting on parts. Still no notice to take vehicle to dealer for inspection. What is the point in a safety recall if there is no action on the part of the manufacturer?

I just got some information from a friend that my Jeep was on a recall.

The left rear window just fell down inside the door when I was driving. We took the door apart (so we could close the window) and found out it was a faulty window regulator. I called everywhere for a part and the only one that has it is a dealer at a hefty price. I was told that it is a commom problem and the dealer checked my VIN # and I was told mine was not on a recall list. On my many phone calls to various parts supplier stores, I was told that the part is junk and it would probably happen again. The dealer says there is a one year warrantly on the part. It just seems to me that it is a no win situation, for the consumer anyway. Total cost of repair, parts and labor - $283.48. Rediculous!

I purchased a gently used car from a Chrysler dealership that had two open safety recalls. I was not informed of these recalls at the time of my purchase. It is my understanding that this is an offense against the NHTSA. Please feel free to contact me for further information. I hope this will never happen to anyone else buying from a so-called "reputable" dealer, as I thought I was.

On the 2005 and 2006 diesel Jeep Liberty (4X4) the oil filtered is exposed to damage when off roading. Currently, there is no skid plate available for the oil filter. While off road a rock hit the oil filter and opened a hole which drained all oil and caused vehicle to turn off.
