I have a recall on my vehicle. I keep getting notices via email and regular mail that I need to schedule an appointment to get this recall fixed. Every time I call the dealer to get it fixed, I'm told that they don't have parts and don't know when they'll be in. They say they will give me a call when the parts come in, then I never hear back from them.

Engine idles rough. Check engine, traction and throttle control waning light came on. Car sputtered and would not go over 30mph. Would almost stall when accelerating from a stop. Took to nearest dealership and was told the throttle body needed to be replaced. Picked up the car to take to my mechanic but the lights never came back on. Have driven roughly 100 miles since. Car still runs rough and has for about a year.

Without alerts, engine stalled while driving at approximately 30 mph on a straightaway, frontage road. Steering wheel locked up. I brought vehicle to a stop and turned on hazard signals. Removed key entirely and then re-inserted and attempted to start vehicle. Car failed to start but made ignition noises for approximately 10 seconds without success at which all alert lights on dashboard lit up only while key was turned but failing to start. I removed key entirely again and waited approximately fifteen seconds before re-inserting and attempting ignition once more. This attempt succeeded and I was able to drive vehicle home.

It will start after say 5 or 8 minutes and its scary especially driving on 460E from Norfolk to richmond 3X a week for work. Will send it to the Jeep dealer shop on 9/10/19. I purchased it new. Vehicle stalls while driving unexpectantly, while driving and leaves no recourse or corrections for the driver to be made. Power to all of the vehicle systems stayed on whilst all the controls of the vehicle were removed from the driver. Eventually restarted. But refuses to start after being stationary again. Was driving down a city street when my car just stalled out on a straightaway. Finally restarting and making it home, and now not starting again.

Both while driving, and while sitting. Vehicle experienced many electrical problems due to slow tipm failure. Over the course of six months. Countless hours and lots of money on diagnostics. And fixing individual components for the problems that were happening. Car was hesitating, bucking, and sporadic idle. Also radio and bluetooth connectability started to glitch. Certain lights would not work. All of these problems were handled individually for the components that normally makes them happen. Only temporarily fixing the problem. The final problem was the cooling fans staying on even when the car was shut off. Checked all involved circuitry. Everything was fine including relays. Finally settled on the tipm being bad. Jeep then tried to gouge me on the price. Ultimately wanting to charge about $1,600 for the diagnosis and fix. Including $700 just for the part. I located a new oem parts through a third party for $250. And a simple plug-and-play install, corrected all problems with vehicle. Dealership then tried to say the part needed to be programmed. So they could charge $200 for a service that is completely unnecessary. If you get the right tipm for the exact model and options. A soft reset can be done by simply using the ignition key. It is very poor business practice by Chrysler corporation. And they are taking advantage of many unsuspecting customers. Often paying upwards of over $4,000 in one year for misdiagnosed and overpriced services.
