Summary
Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM. P1DD2 - Torque Request Signal From TCM Denied. U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received. P0101 - Mass Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Performance. U0418 - Invalid Data Received From Brake System Control Module. P0128 - Thermostat Rationality. P0703 - Brake Switch 2 Performance. P1185 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation. U1504 - Implausible Message Data Length Received From Steering Angle Sensor. Customers may also experience the following:Vehicle periodically may fail to start(ED6 engine only). In addition, the following software enhancements are available:Changes which allow the catalytic convertor to operate cooler. Multiair solenoid electrical opening change to resolve idle tick/tap issue. Cruise control enhancements.
