Flash: Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) Updates
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ?P0563-00 - System Voltage High. ? P2B28-00 - Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Pump Performance. Customers may also comment on one or more of the following: ? Reduced engine restart performance. ? May observe battery lamp illumination or the technician observes the 12V system voltage high when diagnosing. This bulletin involves reprogramming the HCP also known as Power Inverter Module (PIM) with the latest available software.
