Car was purchased in 2010 from Enterprise car rental. Air bag light came on and off sporadically for over a month in May 2015 when mileage was around 60K. The light eventually remained on and never went back off. I took my car to a certified KIA dealership to be inspected. The results of the inspection gave a code of 'B1378 side airbag front driver -resistance too high.' Was informed by the dealer the the air bag was defective and there are only two solutions:
1. replace entire driver's seat obtaining the part from a certified used vehicle ($694.00) or
2. order a brand new air bag from the kia factory ($1341.73)
