Summary
"SITUATION: THE VEHICLE MAY NOT MOVE WHEN ANY TRANSMISSION GEAR IS SELECTED ON INITIAL ENGINE START UP IN COLD AMBIENT (15˚F / -10˚C OR LOWER) CONDITIONS, A 'TRANSMISSION FAULT' MESSAGE MAY BE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MESSAGE CENTER, AND DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P1707-77 IS STORED IN THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM). CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY TRANSMISSION OIL VISCOSITY AT COLD TEMPERATURES (15˚F / -10˚C AND LOWER) NOT ALLOWING THE TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP TO PRESSURIZE THE TRANSMISSION OIL TO RELEASE THE PARK PAWL."
