Takata recall. The repairs are taking too long. I drive with my 10-month old in the car and am concerned with the life threatening/serious injury possibility if involved in an accident where the airbag is engaged! I would like an alternative recourse at the expense of the manufacturer, such as a loaner car or something! my family's life is at risk every time we drive the car. I have two cars affected by this recall and will submit two complaints. Thank you.

Takata recall. Received notice 07/11/2016 of recall involving the passenger side airbag. The recall specifically states "a ruptured inflator can send inflator parts toward vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death. I contacted Ford customer relationship center on 07/11/2016 and spoke to aaron. I asked him about deactivating the passenger side airbag and his instructions were not to do so. As of this date there is no remedy, I am unable to sell my vehicle, my wife may be in serious danger should we have a frontal collision with airbag deployment. Information available indicates some manufacturers are recommending deactivation. Please advise so that I may take proper action.

Lincoln Mkz 2007 airbag modular and sensors gone bad and airbag light is on. Car was checked for the problem and I was told that it would cost over $1500 to repair this problem. This car parts have continuously fail on this particular car panels on both front door have cracked, drives side has been replaced once by dealer. Was told that if I replace door panel I would have to buy the door rather than just a panel, have replaced all four reels on the car, tires constantly have to be checked for low air pressure in tires, dashboard has popped loose at vent in top of dashboard and was told by dealer it would cost over $2000 to repair. This car is suppose to be one of Lincoln's best vehicles and the parts on this car are not top quality. Car is not old enough to have had so many problem. Car was poorly built and it is a shame that Lincoln will not step up to the plate and acknowledge all of these problems with this car. I am a very unsatisfied customer and at this point would not consider buying another vehicle in the Lincoln family. What a shame that you pay so much for a vehicle and get this kind of quality. Shame, shame, shame.

This is in regard to the latest "airbag recalls" on the Ford model cars. I own a 2007 Lincoln Mkz and I have been having a problem with the "warning light" constantly being "on" since August of the year, 2014. I immediately took it to the Ford dealership to have it checked out. I was told it would be very expensive to fix, but for me "not to worry about it" as long as the light didn't bother me. In light of the recent recalls of other models of Ford cars and stories on the national news about the airbag defect resulting in even fatal injuries due to the airbag, I feel this matter should be addressed by Ford and repaired by Ford at "their expense." Additionally, I only have 50,450 miles on my car and it has been taken care of very well by me. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible since I drive my car every day and am very concerned about this issue. Thank you
