Some 2017-2018 MKZ vehicle built on or before 10-Oct-2017 may exhibit a steering wheel that does not travel to the full up position when the easy entry/exit feature is enabled. Reprogram the DSM using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) or Ford J2534 Diagnostic Software (FJDS) release 108.03 or higher. Perform a driver seat module (DSM) reset. Select Toolbox > Body > Service Functions > DSM Reset. Next, program the DSM using as-built. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com. For claiming, use causal part 14C708 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
