When putting car into drive it will suddenly slam into gear, next day consumer had vehicle towed to dealer, and they said that transmission was completely gone.

Whenever vehicle has been started, it would shake and tremble. Had taken vehicle to dealer, but problem had not been or could not be resolved. Mechanic did adjust transmission, but another mechanic indicated that transmission was stuck in 2nd gear and proceeded to repair it.

When consumer started up car itcould not be put in gear. Took to dealer, and they adjusted the problem. Consumer felt that there still was a problem because it happened again. But, consumer was able to put in gear. Mechanic said problem was caused by putting hand on top of gear shift lever. Consumer felt this did not make sense.
