In last 6 months my dashboard is melting! I have noticed it was getting shiny and sticky as if someone had poured glue on it. I have tried to use numerous different cleaners and nothing happens. The surface is so shiny it is causing glare when I drive or mt teenagers drive the car. This is unsafe. Now I am researching and find numerous complaints about same issue. Is this also affecting my airbag?

The sensor for passenger air bag off starting staying on, nothing was in the passenger seat. Now the sensor thinks someone is in the seat ( when no one is in seat) and keeps flashing the buckle seat belt warning.

The contact owns a 2010 Mazda, Mazda 3. while traveling at 35 mph, the air bag warning light illuminated. The dealer rewired the air bag connection to correct the failure. The failure mileage was 17,000 and the current mileage was 19,000.
