Model series 206: Front seat heating nonfunctional
Cause
Cause is an internal error in the 'seat heating' control unit with the following designation:
"B221A96 - An internal error is present in the 'seat heating' control unit. There is an internal component fault."
Remedy
Please do not perform any work.
Do not flash, update, code or recommission the 'seat heating' control unit!
Please create a PTSS case.
The 'seat heating' control unit is required for analysis.
Additional required information:
In which situation/under which conditions did the complaint occur?
Is there any specific behavior to note regarding the customer's use of the vehicle?
Was the vehicle affected by undervoltage or are there other fault memory entries stored in the vehicle that can be attributed to an unstable power supply?
Was the vehicle connected to a battery preservation device or charger? (If yes, what sort of charger was used?)
