Summary
Complaint Brake squeal from front axle when braking to a standstill. Cause Frictional vibrations between brake lining and brake disk. There is no impact to braking capabilities. Remedy Order and replace A0004202306 Linings of front axle as per parts catalog. It is not necessary to replace the brake disks; see also LI "Brake noises on AMG - vehicles" in design group 42.10.
