This service campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG) has determined that the preservation agent at the lower door hinges at the front and rear as well as at the lift-gate hinges may not correspond to specifications. As a result, it is possible that corrosion may form at the lower door hinges at the front and rear as well as at the hinges of the lift-gate. To remedy this situation an authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer will apply preservation agent during the next workshop visit.
