Blown head gasket, failed motor mounts, failed timing chain cover gasket, transmission gasket failure, radiator leak and cooling fan failure.

Received recall notice 97V019000 in the mail. Contacted dealer. Took vehicle for repairs on date given. Picked vehicle up. The vehicle had caught fire after repairs were done on 02 Sep 99. The remedy for the engine cooling fan had failed.

The engine cooling fan caught on fire. Insurance adjustor said bearings in fan motor locked up, causing a build up of heat & smoke. This caused the relay switch to short out, causing engine cooling fan to burn.
