These parts were on recall, I set up my appointment with the dealership. Called to verify appointment and was told it was cancelled, the recalled air bag parts are also on recall. This is unacceptable, I have children and grandchildren that ride in my truck. Mitsubishi said the date the new air bags will be available are not available at this time. 2006 Mitsubishi Raider air bags:frontal:driver side inflator module NHTSA campaign #15V313000 2006 Mitsubishi Raider electrical system:ignition:switch NHTSA campaign #14V795000 my truck isn't included in this recall. Its not recognizing the keys or the VIN #. it also won't start sometimes and I have to put it in neutral to get it to start. Automatic transmission- after starting the vehicle, there was a loud noise while shifting into drive/reverse. Later while driving 70 mph on normal dry roads, the vehicle engine stalled. The vehicle was taken to a service dealer who determined that the gear box was faulty, and a common problem. I also have this issue with this truck. Tsb #0635001 NHTSA id #10019046 summary: Shudder while braking. Vibration or shudder in the brake pedal when the brakes are applied at highway speeds.- I also have this issue. Tsb #0516001 NHTSA id #10018781 summary: No engine crank - loss of communications with front control module. - my truck has this too. Tsb #137 NHTSA id #10021743 summary: Reprogramming the PCM drivability or sensitivity issues can be corrected. My check engine light will come on for this issue. As well as for transmission has low voltage and transmission is too hot. Last time my check engine light came on I have 11 transmission codes. I drove it for another 2 days and the check engine light went off. Would cost me a fortune to run it to be repaired every time the check engine light comes on. Which is about 20 times a month.
