I purchased this car from carmax with a full understanding that it was properly serviced. My car has been in the shop 4 times in the last 3 months, for my check engine light and overheating. Saturday morning I went outside to crank my car so it can warm and it wouldn't start. This is ridiculous, paying almost $400 a month for a car I barely drive.

Where the mileage screen is it keeps blinking on and off and stays black out majority of the time I can't see miles and I can't see what the gear it is in on the dash board. I purchased a used 2014 Nissan Altima with 58,000 miles. It drove great during test driving and on my way home which is 1 hour away from where I live. By day 2 the car began jerking around 60 mi per hr. And under. I made an appointment to have it looked at my local Nissan dealership. By day 4 on the way to the dealership the RPM would jump up to 4 and the car made a winding noise. It would advance forward quickly and then stall. All of this while driving on a major highway. I came to a place where I could pull over waited a few minutes and then tried to pull off the car would not go anywhere. I finally had to have it towed to the dealership. Nissan has yet to know what the problem is, saying it has an "unspecified code". it's been 3 days. I know there had been a recall on the cvt transmission however I don't see my vehicle VIN on the list.

Randomly the vehicle will not accelerate even after pushing the gas pedal to the floor. Eventually it will slowly start to roll and get going again. It has been taken to a mechanic shop several times and no issues have been found. This happens after coming to a stop, and trying to accelerate again. Hasn't made a difference whether on flat ground or a hill. The vehicle will go weeks without an issue, and then randomly start/stop again. Some weeks it happens multiple times a day. Some times it starts to act this way upon start up and other times I could be traveling for a little while, stop at a light, and try to take off and nothing will happen. There have been several times I have tried to accelerate on a right hand turn after stopping and the vehicle won't accelerate. This has lead to us almost getting plowed into. This is a continuous issue with no solution, as to no mechanic has been able to see any issue with the vehicle.

Takata recall: The driver side sun visor in my 2014 Altima has somehow broken from the inside-out. I would estimate that it began malfunctioning over the last year. It will not stay clipped into place and it seems the clip or some piece inside of the visor affects the ability for the visor to function properly. The visor being broken is a safety concern because it prohibits my view as the driver and the visor swings into my view when turning. When the visor is locked in place, I have to crouch down to see under it. It seems to be a hazard and concern for many other Nissan owners. The real issue of safety and the hazard is that the visor wasn't broken due to poor use, it seems to have been defective from its inception.

"takata recall" I purchased this vehicle in October 2018. Since the purchase, my low beam headlights have made me run completely off of the road once and almost got hit by another vehicle because of the severely dim; almost non-existent low beams. Therefore I have been forced to drive at night using only my high beams because as a single mother of 4, I cannot afford to replace or repair entire assemble. I have replaced the bulbs a couple times and was told by a mechanic at local parts store that the "projector" has obviously gone out and that all Altima with that type of lights experience issue. Please help me.
