SERVICE INFORMATION
For current production 2016 Altima, if equipped with fog lamps:
- The fog lamp assemblies also function as Day Time Running Lights.
- Each fog lamp assembly has two bulbs, one for the fog lamp and one for the Day Time Running Light.
- The Day Time Running Lights are ON when:
- Engine is running
- Parking brake is released
- Headlamps are OFF
NOTE: The current Owner?s Manual indicates that, if equipped, the LED portion of the headlamps function as Day Time Running Lights. This type of Day Time Running Light on the Altima is intended for later 2016 production and applied to certain trim levels only. The information in this bulletin is to provide additional information regarding the Day Time Running Lights on current production 2016 Altima vehicles.
