ADAS SYSTEM DTC C1A03, C1A04, AND/OR C1B01 SERVICE INFORMATION
This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) or Forward Emergency Braking (FEB).
SERVICE INFORMATION
If the following ICC/ADAS codes are stored, make sure to follow the diagnostic procedures in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) before replacing any parts.
C1A03 ? VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR
-The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for ABS DTCs before replacing ADAS components.
-If repairs are performed for the ABS system; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs.
C1A04 ? ABS/TCS/VDC SYSTEM
-The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for ABS DTCs before replacing ADAS components.
-If repairs are performed for the ABS system; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs.
C1B01 CAM AIMING INCMP
-The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for LANE CAMERA DTCs before replacing ADAS components.
-LANE CAMERA DTC may require adjustment of the lane camera.
-If repairs/adjustments are performed for the Lane Camera; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs.
