2017 MURANO; MID-YEAR CHANGE TO CENTER CONSOLE
SERVICE INFORMATION
Starting with the applied VIN and date above, 2017 Murano vehicles come equipped with a center console configured differently than 2017 Murano vehicles built prior.
Earlier built vehicles came equipped with a removable coin tray while currently built vehicles have the tray molded in as part of the center console assembly.
For details, see photos on page 2.
For this issue, do not order and replace under warranty a removable tray or complete center console assembly if the vehicle was built on or after the applied VIN and date stated above.
This change is not applicable under the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty.
These vehicles are built correctly with a molded-in tray and without a removable tray.
The removable tray is available and will fit the newer console if the customer wishes to purchase it.
