The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. While on vacation in July of 2008, the contact noticed and smelled fuel leaking from the vehicle just one week after having the fuel sensor replaced. The odor was very strong. The manufacturer repaired the vehicle under warranty. When the contact retrieved the vehicle, she was informed that the fuel line was repaired, but she began smelling gasoline a few weeks later. There was no leakage at that time. On January 23, 2009, the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the odor and they stated that no prior repairs appeared to have been made to the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 60,000.
