2017-2018 PATHFINDER; 2ND ROW SEAT HANDLE "CARGO MODE" CHANGE
SERVICE INFORMATION
A change has been made to the 2nd row seat handles in the Applied Vehicles.
Vehicles produced between August 15, 2017 and September 8, 2017 (see VIN information below) are equipped with 2nd row seat handles that have "CARGO MODE" displayed on them (Figure 1).
Applied Vehicles built before and after the time period shown above are equipped with blank seat handles (Figure 2).

Almond interior: 5N1(*)R2M(**)HC 914247 to 5N1(*)R2M(**)JC 608295
Charcoal interior: 5N1(*)R2M(**)HC 914269 to 5N1(*)R2M(**)JC 608335
ARE equipped with 2nd row seat handles with "CARGO MODE" displayed on them.
The Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover replacement of a "CARGO MODE" handle (correctly built vehicle) with a blank handle. Refer to the Nissan Assurance Products Resource Manual (APRM) for guidelines on warranty coverage. The vehicle owner's manual contains the complete details regarding the limited warranty.
