I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue and my steering wheel was making a squeaking noise when turning-?? then was told it was the backing plate-?? then the tailgate door button doesn-??t work. My navigation touchscreen doesn-??t work. I get a burning wire smell in the car and my leg area gets really hot, as if I have the heater on. When I go over 45 the car shakes more like vibrating feeling when I press the brakes.. when someone get in or out my key alarm goes off saying no key in car.. please help I just got this car in December

The cargo/ hatch lift no longer opens/lifts the hatch to make the cargo space available for use. I didn't notice any warnings or flashing lights to let me know it was failing. One day while putting groceries in the cargo space, the hatch came down across my back pining me between the hatch door and the rear vehicle frame while I was. reaching the groceries inside the cargo area. A man who was passing by helped me get free. After that the life no longer went up automatically at the push of a button. At first it made a whinning noise and unlocked but would not go up. Then it made no noise at all and has not worked since. It has not been inspected by the dealer. I am checking for recalls to see if this is a problem others are having. My vehicle is a 2016 Nissan Rogue SL It has been approximatly 3 months. I have been accessing the cargo space through the rear driver side door.

My window on passenger side will roll down but not back up. The fuses are fine and i swapped out the switch panel, still doesn't work. From researching it seems that the master switch on drivers side window affects this. I've brought it to the Nissan dealer in Burns Harbor, IN and they first tried to tell me there wasnt a recall. I then saw on carfax that there was so I called back and then they said there was a recall but no remedy. This has been going on for 3 months that I continue to call Nissan and customer affairs etc. I have to pay to get it fixed because I have no other car and I transport my paralyzed daughter. This is ridiculous!!

I tried to start my car in November 2021 and it was dead. Bought a new battery, replaced with old, since this, driver window has a delay and AC unit would turn off of recirculating to open air on its own or just wouldn-??t blow cold intermittently. Then on April 28, 2022 - my battery was dead, upon my own inspection, found corrosion on the positive terminal. Knowing that my battery was new - this was alarming. Cleaned off the corrosion and car starts up - but still experiencing the driver window issue and AC is now working but extremely cold on lowest setting.

Been dealing with an issue of the driver side window failing. It has failed three separate times in the past year and remain stuck inside the driver side door unable to go back up. Twice during winter once in the summer. I had to wait weeks during the winter to get the window remedied with a newborn and a 3 year old. They both happened during blizzards where I was forced to figure out how to get my family home safely with window stuck down during a 2 separate winter storms. My dashboard lights are now all lit up, no AWD, traction control, cruise, and a check engine light now. Have had 1 year and had nothing but issues. Now we-??re down to one vehicle so my wife drives this vehicle and drops me off at work and drives our children around. The smell of burning plastic is starting to happen and we feel unsafe with our children in this car. The next step will most likely be the fire that was mentioned as an issue from this known problem and we are already smelling the burning driving. We have reached out to dealers and anyone who would listen. We were told no loaner vehicle and to drive it until it catches fire with our kids inside-??. All figure it out and wait for the recall fix to come -??eventually-??. We are out of choices and feel unsafe in this vehicle. We have been provided no solutions, this is our only vehicle, and we still are paying monthly on it even in this condition.

My battery completely drained around 24,000 miles, my car just hit 31,000 miles. My air bag light stays on continuously, after this happened my drivers side window quit working, worked fine no noise or anything, then 1 minute later quit working. The lock, unlock button on the outside door handle quits working at times. The remote, key fob doesn't work all the time even after replacing the battery in it. At least 1 to 2 times a week my radio and navigation system won't come on when I start my cars, I have to turn off the car 2 to 3 times to get it to start working. Sometimes the power tailgate won't work for days at a time with the button inside the car. Sometimes the button to start the car does nothing, just have to keep trying. Random warning lights will come on while driving then just turn off. Sometimes both myself and others in the car smell something electrical burning. All of this started within a few days of each incident.
