Summary
2018 ALTIMA AND SENTRA; DO NOT ERASE DTC P0315 This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 4-cyl (non-turbo) engine only. SERVICE INFORMATION If DTC P0315 is stored on an Applied Vehicle, do not erase it. If DTC P0315 is stored, the description on the CONSULT-III plus screen will be listed as: (TBD) Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned. If you find DTC P0315 stored, please note the following: - Do not erase the DTC. - It will not turn ON the MIL. - No diagnosis or repair is necessary. - It will clear itself after a few trips with normal operation of the vehicle. NOTE: If DTC P0315 is erased with C-III plus, the ECM will restart the learning pattern: - The DTC may be stored again before the learning/driving pattern is complete. - The MIL will not come ON. - The DTC will clear itself after a few trips with normal operation of the vehicle.
