Takata airbag? I don't know because nothing has happened to date but I have a flashing airbag light I can't afford to fix. I've been told various prices for initial scans and diagnosis, but with all the takata issues and this being an imported vehicle manufactured by Nissan I believe someone should look into this before I'm subjected to the time and expense. I've been told with a flashing airbag light the system is inactive and less safe. Please review and advise

On tv (abc 7 Chicago) there was a report that stated that there was a problem with the air bag on vehicles that were made before 2010. The air bags suddenly explode without any warning. I just want to make sure that my car is safe when I am driving.

My light came on blinking regarding my air bags. I took the vehicle to the Nissan dealership. They advised me that the air bags will not deploy due to a sensor that has failed in the front passenger side seat bottom. I was further advised that they cannot replace just the sensor, it will be $660 to replace the whole seat bottom.I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs as I believe this is a basic safety issue and that they should assist with the fix. I have not abused the seat, it is not damaged or torn, it has not been in an accident. The only reason I have no working airbags is because the part Nissan put in the vehicle has failed. Nissan has failed to assist me and I still do not have working air bags.

Passenger side airbag light is on and blinking on dashboard. Nissan states that entire passenger seat needs to be replaced. Computer was reset twice and light is still blinking. The vehicle was purchased new and has never been in an accident. I am afraid this might be part of a earlier recall since I can not determine if my passenger side airbag is a 2009 model.

We were practically stopped, when we were rear ended by another vehicle. We were pushed into the vehicle in front of us. My hood was smashed & radiator was moved along with multiple others damage to the front of my vehicle. My bumper was pushed in. After the accident I went to my nearest Nissan dealership to ask about the airbags not deploying. I was told that U had to be going a certain amount of speed for the airbags to deploy. I explained to them that the car behind us was speeding and pushed us into the vehicle in front of us. My concern is if I wouldn't have had my seat belt on I would've been thrown through the windshield. Because with the impact hitting from behind I was lifted up from my seat. I still say there was a default with my airbags. Please help me with solving this issue. Thank you..
