How can a 2014 nissan Versa that I have owned for 7 months have a bad transmission. The dealer is repairing it for no charge but what other problems will I be having with this car before it's paid for?

Bought car June2013. On March 23 2015 the car started having loud clunking, hesitation, sometimes slipping problems. The car was checked and found out the transmission needs to be replaced. The standard warranty is 36000 miles, factory warranty on tranny is 60000, so its not covered. They had the same issues with this CVT in 2003-2010 and actually had temporarily extended warranty to 120,000 until 2010 when it expired. Obviously, the new improved CVT as of 2014, at least , did not resolve the issue!! its a real hardship to come up with $3500 with no guarantee it will happen again. What you save in CVT gas mileage, you end up wasting it in fixing it. Not worth the purchase.
