Gasoline in my 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora has been spraying out of one of the failed fuel lines.

Fuel line fittings crack and release high-pressure spray of fuel onto hot manifold and exhaust creating noxious fumes and fire risk.

Fuel leak in the fuel line. While at an oil change shop the owner asked me to look under the hood. He showed me gas shooting the fuel line. I was lucky, it could have happened later as I was driving and caused a fire and/or blew up.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer because fuel leaked on top of the engine. The consumer would smell gas when the vehicle was being operated. The fuel rail was leaking onto the engine. The mechanic determined that there was another gas leak. Recall# 04V110000.

The consumer states that the plastic tube between each fuel injector line, and is leaking fuel onto the engine. The dealer was notified. The consumer stated there is no fuel rail but a plastic tube between each fuel injector, inspection revealed a prior leakage in this area which appeared to have been patched, the consumer believes this is a design flaw.

Plastic fuel line deveploped a pin hole and gas shot out onto hot engine. Has contacted dealer, and had the problem fixed on Aug 15 2001.
