June of 2008, the service airbag light kept coming on. I took it back to the dealership where I bought the car from and they said it was the passenger side seat sensor that needed to be replace and since it was still under warranty at the time I didn't have to pay for it. After getting it fixed it hasn't come back on until about two years ago and it is now no longer under warranty and I was told if I don't get it fixed then when it comes back on then the airbags won't deploy. February of 2011, the check engine light came on and I had to replace all four of my O2 sensors and then the brain in order for the check engine light to go off. But every winter the check engine light comes back on when the temperature is 35degrees or lower and then I am unable to remote start my car. I have had it checked and code that keeps coming up is that I have bad O2 sensors but when they are checked they are still good. Both of these are a real pain. Can you please check to see if there are any other complaints. Thank you.

The Pontiac G6 2006 fuel pump is faulty and there's alot of complaint on the internet about this part. The strange thing about this issue is GM knows about this issue but for some very strange reason recall the vehicles from 2007-2010 and left off the 2006 model which seem to suffer most from this fuel pump defect from the plastic made part on their pump. The dealership after charging me $134 just to diagnose the problem which they knew from before wanted an additional $1200 to replace their own defective pump which they recalled on the 2007 model and many other vehicle....its a major rip off and a [xxx] shame ! this issue is a major issue, gas is leaking on the exhaust and its a fire hazard. Driving 65-70 mph on highway while raining. Lost quite a bit of power and started to stahl. Message flashed across message screen stating "reduced engine power". had to pull of to emergency shoulder lane. Left car on the side of highway for a little over 24 hours. Came back next day and my car started right up with no problems. This happened 3 more times with the same outcome. Around 4 weeks ago, while driving on the highway, no rain this time, I heard the chime and message screen flashed "power steering." My power steering was immediately lost, I managed to merge over to left lane and into the emergency lane. While merging, the screen chimed once again but now displaying "reduced engine power". my car stalled and completely shut off. Once stopped, I pulled out key from ignition. Replaced key in efforts to restart my vehicle. The ignition would not turn over. My vehicle was completely dead at this point. Around 10 hours later, returned to vehicle on highway shoulder, car started right up on the first turn of key. This exact incident happened 4 days later with same outcome. Recently last week and this week, while starting my car, once I place my vehicle in reverse. My message screen will chime and display "power steering" and loose all steering capabilities. I can fix this myself by turning off the engine, removing key, wait about 30 seconds and try again resulting in normal use.

(not filler neck) after dropping the car off at the dealership were it was purchased, the faulty part was determined to be a fuel pump nipple was leaking.the fuel pump assembly was replaced for a mere $998.75. The fuel pump is located at the top of the tank and is totally protected and should not have failed. The car has only 52,000 miles on it.
