Driving along the road a deer came out we tried to swerve to avoid the deer and slammed on the brakes, and vehicle lost steering due to anti skid failure, does not indicate anti skid failure, shows it is operational, tires were very heavily flat spotted, we went off the road and hit a sign and damaged the front of the car after this the air bag sensor is dangling we had no air bag deployment. Took it into the dealership when it was still under factory warranty and we were told the anti skid and our cruise control problem was all working and normal, the car will surge forward very fast when the cruise is set, it will go about 10 mph past the set speed, and will go back to the set speed, but not until it goes very quickly to the point where if your not careful you will run up on someone in front of you.

I was stopped at a stop sign. Other vehicle stopped to my left, so I turned right. He accelerated, hitting my car. I had a hole in my door[ drivers] and he took my bumper off, totaling my car. The air bags never deployed. He hit me hard enough to put a large hole in the metal door, and the drivers side air bag, or any air bag, did not deploy.

The airbag dash symbol lit up and a message to check the airbag appeared on the screen. When I parked and turned off the car and turned it back on the airbag warning stopped. This happened twice on this day and once the next day. Today, a month later, the same thing recurred but I did not stop the car to turn it off. I removed a second set of keys attached to the car keys and the warning stopped while I continued to drive.

Note: The date provide in the upper part of this form is not accurate because the webpage would not let correct date be entered. This vehicle's electronic messaging system (in the dashboard) frequently shows the message: "service air bag" the first occurrence of this message occurred within the first 6 months after the vehicle was purchased. The problem was reported to the dealership service manager, who responded, "I've never heard of that." The problem has occurred randomly/semi-regularly since that time. Sometime later, the vehicle was taken into the dealership service department while the message was showing, and a request was made to make a notation of the problem on the vehicle's service record, the request was ignored by the service manager. Additional information: For the first 3 years after this vehicle was purchased, it had major electronic problems that were later corrected by replacing the factory-installed battery, that the dealership parts manager stated was the wrong size (it was too small), with the correct size battery. However, the "service air bag" message has continued to appear frequently and at random. Having just checked the NHTSA website (thanks to an alert from fox news) and discovering an air bag related recall, this vehicle will be taken intop the dealership. Along with a print-our of the recall, for repair.

I had rear ended somebody on the freeway doing approx 35 mph. The damage to my car included folded up hood, punctured radiator, busted up bumper and both headlights. The airbags did not deploy. There looked to be sufficient damage and speed to cause them to pop. Not sure why they didn't. I had my seat belt on but am still very sore from the accident and it just happened today.

I was driving and noticed that my airbag sensor light was coming on. It occasionally comes on and it goes off. I'm having a issue with something underneath my car. I replaced tierod and got two front end alignments. Since purchasing this car in October 2013 I complained to dealership my concerns for my car not feeling safe. It seems to be something in steering or underneath vehicle. My thermostat gauge fluctuates from zero degrees to 220 degrees while driving. Water pump was replaced and it still occurs.

We have a clunking in the front end of this piece of crap while turning. We have replaced the strut & spring assembly and sway bars in the front, as well as the rear shocks. Now its getting hard to turn and appears to be the power steering or a steering shaft issue. Also the passenger side airbag light is now on after the fuse for the cruise control blew, replaced fuse and still remains on. I purchased this car for my 16 year old daughter and now feel its a death trap, there appears to be numerous problems with this car and no recalls. How would you feel if it was your child driving it, or yourself for that matter. You really need to get it together and do something!!!

On April 29, 2013 my husband was involved in a collision with our 2007 Pontiac G6. He hit the rear end of a truck, head on, going 80 mph and the airbags did not deploy. Not one. Our vehicle was totaled out. The damage sustained to our vehicle and impact of the collision should have sent every airbag in the front of the car off.

Air bag deployment:hit a dog at 55 mph, damage over $2,000, my seat belt locked up ripped my coat and bruised ribs, broke the seat belt. Air bags did not deploy. The smell of the air bags deploying filled the car. The air bag service engine light came on but GM dealer that did the auto body repair said air bags do not deploy at that speed when you hit an animal, and they were not going to service it. Instead they disabled the light.
