Takata recall our vehicle seats 5 and our family has 5 members. The vendor has instructed us to not use the seat, which makes our vehicle unusable. They do not have any date of when we may have use for our vehicle and refuse any remedy.

Takata recall. Have not had an incident with airbag but cannot get a straight answer about what to do. My dealer, chesrown in Delaware oh did not have any parts to fix the airbag as of 10/30/17. Received a recall letter March 2017 telling that my car is affected but not to call dealer as no parts available at that time. Now I have a card for tk holdings, Inc. To contact dealer for fix received 10/30/2017. Seems like I am getting a run around and I can't find a resolution.

Takata recall. We got a notice in January 2017, it is now November 2017 and nothing further has happened. This is really ridiculous. The manufacturer surely can fix the problem in a more timely fashion.

Takata recall. I received notification from GM, the manufacturer, in January 2017, that my vehicle has takata airbags that require recall. However, the notification indicated that they do not currently have a solution. It is now November 2017, and the manufacturer's website still says that they have no remedy.

"takata recall" this issue has not been resolved. I continually contact the dealership and they indicate the "remedy to correct" this defect is still not available. It recommends that no one should ride in the passenger seat. Additional information: VIN: [xxx] year: 2009 make: Pontiac model: Vibe number of open recalls: 1 NHTSA recall number: Opens new window takes away from VIN lookup section> 17V006 recall date: January 10, 2017 manufacturer recall number: N162017009 summary: The subject vehicles are equipped with front passenger airbag inflators produced by takata. According to takata, the propellant in these inflators may degrade after prolonged exposure to high absolute humidity and fluctuating high temperatures. Degraded propellant can cause inflator rupture during airbag deployment. Safety risk: In the event of an inflator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, striking the vehicle occupants, and result in serious injury or death. Until the repair is performed, the front passenger seat should not be occupied. Remedy: Dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator, free of charge. Recall status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I have a open recall on my Vibe for the front passenger side air bag. It has been over a year since I was first notified about the recall and I still do not know when I will get a replacement. I have called the dealership and GM about this and they can't tell anything either. I need someone to help me fix this problem. I live in the southeast of Virginia. We have very high humidity and heat. These two factors are the prime issues causing these air bag problems. When can I expect to receive information on a fix for this. Also, I just received a notice that tk holdings has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Is this going to cause me not to get a air bag replacement?

Takata recall was notified of the takata airbag recall (NHTSA recall 17V006; manufactur recall number N162017009) on January 10, 2017. It is currently October 28, 2017.I have tried calling my local dealership numerous times over the last 10 months, yet they continue to claim a fix is still not available. And that for safety reasons, I should not have a passenger in the front passenger seat. My wife is pregnant with our second child and is due in just over 2 weeks. The 2009 Pontiac Vibe car will only fit 2 car seats in the back row, which means that only 3 people are able to ride in the car due to this airbag recall. Since our dealership said that no fix will be available soon, we will be forced to use a second vehicle to Transport our family anywhere we go. This is just plain unacceptable. The dealership should disconnect the passenger airbag, which would allow a passenger to use the front passenger seat. Sure, it may not be as safe as driving with an airbag, but from what I understand, it is a whole lot safer than having a passenger in the seat with a takata airbag. The 2009 Pontiac Vibe had only 31,000 miles on it when we were notified. It currently has 37,000 miles on it. There was a similar recall on the drivers side airbag years ago. We received notification in 2012 or 2013 about the issue and to contact our dealer (in New Mexico at the time). They claimed no fix was available. It was only just addressed by our new local dealer (in Virginia) in 2016 because parts were "finally available". that's at least 3 years and while also unacceptable, I don't have actual dates for it. I am fearing this current passenger takata airbag recall will take just as many years.

Takata recall. GM sent a recall notice to me back in January 2017 about the airbag issue, but now almost 11 months later they still have not started fixing the problem and when I called today they still give me the same story about investigating the best solutions for the problem and can provide no date when they will actually start fixing the problem. The representative claims my car is "safe' to drive, but when I asked him to put that in writing he said that wasn't possible. I think some pressure should be put on these companies to start making repairs. I've heard of other companies making the necessary repairs. Why isn't GM?

Takata recall - my car was part of the January 2017 takata recall. As of October 26, 2017 no remedy for this recall is available. My car sits in the garage as it is not feasible for a family to use a car without occupying the front passenger seat. During the summer, I asked GM for a loaner car for a family road trip. They refused to help offering no further information beyond that the front passenger seat should not be used.

Takata recall-safety recall notice as of januarty 2017, parts are still not available (after at least 12 deaths) October 3017 when I received a notice of chapter 11 filings by takata that stated to call my local GM dealership for free replacement. All calls made to tk holdings, airbagrecall and the ntsb just keep saying to call each other so I'm going in circles with recordings.
