Information: The upper front hood latches have a fine adjustment not mentioned in the workshop manual.
A fine adjustment to change the depth of the upper latch striker may be made at the bolt shown in the
photo above.
This is a useful adjustment for front latch issues that cause a warning in the instrument cluster for the
front hood being open as well as fine tuning the closed height of the hood.
