Flash: Coolant Gauge Reads Incorrectly Too High
This Bulletin involves updating the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) software.
A customer may note that the coolant temperature gauge looks like the engine temperature is high, the needle on the gauge will be at the 3/4 mark. On further inspection the technician will find
the vehicle is running at normal temperature 228 to 230F/109-110C. After the cluster is updated the Temperature gauge will read at the 1/2 way mark, at normal operating temperature.
