Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements
This bulletin involves flash reprogramming of the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with
new software.
The customer may indicate that they may have experienced any of the following:
? 4x4 Low Mode shift quality during a medium to heavy throttle
? MIL Illumination for DTC P215C - OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED WHEEL SPEED
CORRELATION
In addition, calibration changes have been made in the following areas to improve:
? Powertrain braking while in Tow/Haul mode
? Downshift response from a medium to heavy pedal
? Drivability at high altitude
? Acceleration performance during cruise control operation
This calibration release also corrects a condition where DTC U11C3 may have been
displayed when DTC U11E3 should have been displayed resulting in a possible
misdiagnosis.
