Dodge Ram 1500 was designed with the rear brake line which is positioned such that the rear brake line will be cut if chains or snow cables are installed on the vehicle. The dealer stated this is a known issue; however, there is no fix. The are refusing to repair the vehicle making it unsafe to use in areas where it could snow.

The brake booster is bleeding down; when you part the vehicle for 24 hours, the first time you step on the brake pedal there is no power assist. Once the engine starts, the boost will return. The dealer states that they have 4 other vehicles on their lot that have this same condition, so they state that it is "normal operation". this isn't consistent behavior with other vehicles as the booster shouldn't bleed down. I'm concerned of a loss of power assisted braking.
