I own a 2016 Dodge Ram eco diesel that was forced to have the epa update completed as part of the class action settlement. Since the update was completed I have been having issues with inconsistent power and acceleration. The problem is intermittent and has almost resulted in collisions on several occasions. This issue is especially dangerous when making left hand turns across traffic and the truck decides to delay 2-3 seconds in the acceleration process. I have contacted the dealer as well as the manufacturer and have been met with stone walking bug both of them. I have complained several times but they refuse to even take the truck in for diagnostics sitting the lack of engine trouble codes. The manufacturer angrily refers me to the department that is handling the settlement and states that the epa is making them do this and there is nothing they can do. When I try reaching out to the department handling the recall/settlement it is met with unreachable agents and an endless loop on a phone system. At this point I fearful to drive the truck and especially Transport my child in it. I am at a wits end and am asking for involvement from your organization. My name is [xxx] and can be reached at [xxx] for any additional information. Thank you information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
