I have received 2 service messages on the vehicle. The first says, "Service Electronic Braking System" and the second says, "Service Trailer Brake". Apparently, this is an ongoing and known issue to FCA with 2014-2018 trucks and they have refused to issue a recall. This issue is occurring in many trucks with very low miles. My truck has 28,000 miles and is only 4 days out of warranty, yet now I as the consumer am expected to pay for replacement of ABS components that are breaking extremely prematurely. This should be a recall, due to the long term and widespread nature of the known issue.

Vehicle engine shuts off while driving. Once, sitting at a stop light. Once traveling at 45mph on a country road and once accelerating up a hill at 20mph. Dash says "place vehicle in park and turn key to start" (paraphrased). The vehicle goes from running to not running with no warning, causing loss of power steering, brakes, etc. Took vehicle to certified RAM service center who said 'there are no codes and we cannot reproduce the issue, so no diagnosis possible' (paraphrased). No error codes, no warning lamps. If this happens in highway traffic with my 16 year old son driving, it could cause a fatal crash.

I was unable to stop vehicle as I was approaching an intersection on a city street went to press on the brakes all the lights started flashing, brake system flashed, no traction light came on, vehicle turned off. Ended up impacting 3 other vehicles and a school bus. My airbags never deployed, and the vehicle was deemed a total loss by my insurance company. All parties were injured in the accident, almost all are seeking representation from attorneys for their injuries.

After turning from the highway feeder onto a small road, I knew a large bump in the road was coming up. Everyone who travels the road knows about it and how you need to slow down. After I made made the turn, I applied my brake in anticipation of the bump, however nothing happened. There wasn't any pressure. I tried one more time and it was the same result. I then tried to consecutively pump the brakes, but there was no change. At that point I was approaching the cement mixer in front of me. I was so close that I knew impact was inevitable. I put my arms to the side, faced forward, and kept my body loose at the last second to try to minimize any injuries and thankfully it worked. My vehicle directly hit the cement mixer in front of me. Almost all damage was done to my vehicle with minimal to the mixer.

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. While the vehicle was parked and unoccupied, it rolled down a hill on its own. The failure occurred five times. The vehicle crashed into a neighbor's tree, but was not damaged. The most recent failure occurred this morning. While the contact's daughter was inside the vehicle, it rolled backwards a few feet on the same hill before stopping. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of warwick (185 NY-94, warwick, NY 10990, (845) 986-2021), but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 20,000.

I was driving about 35-45 mph was attempting to move into the right lane and I felt my steering wheel lock up. It wouldn't let me turn my wheel. So then as I attempted to slam on my brakes so I did T hit a tree the brakes went to the floor and I smashed into the tree and the. I to the woods. I was taken to the hospital 911. The hole front of the truck is destroyed.
