Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates
This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the one ormore of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire. P012A - Turbocharger/Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor 1. P012B - Turbocharger/Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor 1 Circuit Performance. The customer may also experience one or more of the following: Engine idles rough after start. Long crank during engine start. Engine speed dips / engine runs rough when shifting Park to Drive, Drive, to Reverse,Reverse to Drive, or a Park to Reverse after a cold start. Engine stalls during a gear engagement after a cold start.
