While driving to orlando with my kids at 9:03 pm last night, I nearly got rear ended on I4 East. I was a lil puzzled to why someone would flying toward my car as if I was a target, until the driver of that vehicle pulled up aside of me, screaming out "turn on your lights." I immediately looked at my headlights and yelled my lights are on. Still a little confused, I pulled the car over, only to notice that my taillights weren't on. This morning the lights were on, now tonight they don't work I replaced the bulbs and, they don't work either. My car has had quite a few electrical problems, and a traction recall that had been repaired in 2010. I found out today that my car has been recalled for the same exact problem. I had to drive home tonight with my hazard lights on. What can I do" and how am I going to get around at night"

I was driving on the Pennsylvania turnpike and a newer Toyota Tundra made unsafe lane change and at high speeds came into my lane and made impact and pushed me into cement barrier. The truck then spun counter clockwise and collided with the front of my car. I suffered small neck fractures and severe spinal issues. The airbags never deployed and the doctor stated the front airbag not deploying created issue with the severity of spine injury. Product liability of the Saturn airbags needs to be addressed by GM.

There are 4 recalls out for my car, and I have never received any letters to get the work done. The summer of 2013 the car stalled on me and I had to get it towed and pay to replace a wiring harness. I'm not sure if this was due to a part that was recalled or not. If it is, I would like to know if I can get refunded for it. Also, right before winter 2013 my remote starter quit working; the engine light is on; I'm getting a false warning light for the tire pressure; I have heard a bing noise like the door was open because I was using the turn signal when driving; my left front door speaker comes on whenever it feels like it; the lights have blink on and off and my car almost wouldn't start. I think all of this might be an electrical problem. Please contact me and/or send me a letter about getting recalled parts replaced on my car. Thank you. Vehicle continues to lose power driving on highway over 40 mph. Aaa contacted because the vehicle would not start. Aaa tested vehicle and noted that battery was good, alternator was good. Vehicle struggles to start at ignition. Vehicle is part of recall but when I run VIN at GM site it states my vehicle does not have an active recall. ESC and ABS light are always turning on and engine attempt to shut off at high speeds on fwy. Again, I call the dealer and my VIN is not part of active recall yet all safety and life threatening indications are there. Please advise.

When driving my car will briefly lose power. Gas becomes unresponsive. Once everything kicks back on the transmission will not shift, and dash displays service ESC, traction, power steering, ABS. After this happens car will not start after it's shut off. Sometimes it just flickers, causing brake lights to stay on, blinkers to cut in and out.

Rear brake lights work intermittently. Most of the time they do not work but there are rare occasions that they do work. I for sure know that the third brake light doesn't work almost all the time.

This has been an ongoing issue for this vehicle, originally started over a year ago but happened very rarely, now it is happening nearly every time the vehicle is driven. Occasionally the brake lights will turn on and stay on. This disables the cruise control. While the lights stay on if the brake pedal is depressed the brake lights flash off and turn back on, remaining on. The electronic stability control light flashes or remains illuminated while the problem persists. Randomly the issue will resolve itself while driving. Turning off the vehicle and turning back on does not always fix the brake light issue.

I own a 2009 Saturn Aura xr. My brake lights stay engaged while in motion but disengage when I stop. Tapping the brakes will turn the brake light off briefly while in motion but it will come back on within seconds. Rear drivers cannot determine when I'm stopping using the brake light as an indicator. My cruise control no longer works which I'm told is also tied to the brake lights. The ESC warning light comes on frequently and will disengage. The only remedy I've found for this has been turning the car off on. I've sometimes had to do this 5 times within a 20 minute drive. The check engine light in the recent past would go off and on unwarranted but as of late just stays on.

As I am driving the check engine light come on and off along with the ecs light. Also while I'm driving the brake lights are on and I have to either tap the brake or drive while lightly pressing the brake to have the light to go off. I have had the brake light switch replaced twice and it still does not seem to work.

When driving the vehicle, the brake lights would come on randomly and would turn off when the brake pedal is pressed. They would operate in the opposite way that they should. This is extremely dangerous because vehicles behind you don't know when you are braking. This has been happening intermittently for months now.

Stopped at a drive-thru window. Was in gear and under braking. Two lights came on at dash: Service ESC and service traction. Lights reset when vehicle is shut off and restarted. Lights happen at random times during operation. When service lights occur, brake lights react opposite of normal operation.

(1.) I purchased 2009 Saturn Aura xr on 5/22/10 with 17,458 miles at Chevrolet dealership. (2.) on 1/20/11 took vehicle to dealership for an issue of intermittent wiper failure during operation; the mileage on vehicle was documented at 46,563 miles. (3.) dealership performed diagnostic and found a body control module (BCM) internal failure. Dealership quoted repair costs of $514.10 for parts and labor. Dealership informed me that was not covered under the 100K mile powertrain warranty. Dealership did state that the 36K mile or 36 month bumper to bumper warranty would have covered the repair but that the vehicle's 36K mile or 36 month warranty has expired due to the mileage on the vehicle. I elected not to have the vehicle repaired due to the nature of the repair at its current mileage. I did pay for the diagnostic fee of $117.82 on 1/20/11. (4.) I then contacted GM customer service regarding this issue. It is to my belief that this is a manufacturer?S defect but the manufacturer does not want to cover the cost of the defect; in addition to, the safety hazards it imposes while driving. GM customer service offered me a 10% discount toward the total cost of the repair of $514.10 but no other incentives were offered by GM customer service. (5.) I would like an investigation into matter. Intermittent wiper failure is a safety hazard that could cause severe injury or even death while driving during inclement weather. I'm confident that this particular BCM is used on other GM models and that is a great hazard to the consumers. I believe that GM should either do a recall or repair on all vehicles that use the same BCM as the one in my 2009 Saturn Aura or at the least any other vehicle with BCM failure causing intermittent wiper failure during use should be repaired at the cost of the manufacturer.
