My vehilce has 39,00 miles on it. The service airbag light stays on. I contacted GM and they said no recalls at this time and to check back periodically. Therefore if we all have this problem then definitely there is a need for GM to check all of this out. And most of these vehicles has very low miles on them.

The airbag light lit up, the dealer checked it out and said it was the passenger seat occupancy sensor. Said it was the same one that was recalled on Cadillac cts but was T recalled on the Saturn ! I also check with the Cadillac dealership that the car came from and they said the same thing! I looked online and found this to be a common complaint, sent an E-mail to GM and received no response! thanks for any help. After a GM ignition recall on Saturn Sky--we received notice and took our car to the GM shop to do the work. However now the "airbag warning light" stays on---we did much research and replaced the passenger side seat cushion and sensor-----this did not result in the airbag warning light going off--we took it to the GM dealer to do a diagnostic to see why the seat/sensor replacement did not fix the problem and they state the seat is properly installed and it is not causing the airbag warning light issue---but they did not tell us what was the diagnosed problem. Many Saturn Sky owners have written to you and are very concerned about the safety of their families, the fact they cannot pass state required safety inspections; which renders their GM product completely useless. GM has never responded to these issues for Saturn Sky owners or for Pontiac solstice owners and the NHTSA likewise have not responded to this dangerous issue, despite numerous complaints. Many other air bag issues have been addressed by your board for a variety of vehicles---why not this one" I will be approaching my state and federal representatives with this concern as well; it is a public safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately. My husband has also written to the NHTSA has never responded. Will you respond now"

The airbag warning light has just come on, on my 2007 Saturn Sky. After getting the error code scanned air bag code B0081. I was informed that there is a problem with the passenger presence system. After speaking to the GM service manager and mechanic who diagnosed the problem with my vehicle and doing some research, I quickly learned this is a known problem and issue for the 2007 Saturn Sky as with the Cadillac cts and Kia. Both vehicles have been recalled for the same issue. Based on the number of complaints for the passenger airbag safety system. Why has no recall been issued to solve this malfunctioning system?

Passenger side airbag warning light is coming on intermittently. Did some research, appears this is a "common problem" with all the Sky/solstice cars due to a defective seat sensor. My car is a low mileage, garage kept car with only 42K miles on it. This should not happen. Also, if other makes and models have had this airbag sensor recalled, why has GM not recalled the Sky/solstice; are the passengers safety not as important in our cars?

I get a "service air bag" message when I start the car. This was previously repaired in 2011 after I got the same message at that time. This is a problem with the passenger air bag and it has been diagnosed as the air bag sensor module needs to be replaced. I understand from web searches that this problem is occurring often for this model of the Saturn Sky.

As with every other Saturn Sky out there the passenger seat airbag sensor has failed. As everyone else has said, you guys are full of it, you will wait until people die with this issue. It is a safety problem step up and recall it.

As I was thedriving down the highway at 65 mph, the airbag light came on. The service airbag message came up and I noticed that the passenger airbag on/off light would alternate from on/off. The passenger was just sitting there in the seat properly. After I stopped another passenger got in and still stayed illuminated.

My passenger side airbag sensor is faulty. It then shuts down the entire airbag system. Once the passenger presence sensor fails, it stores a code in the SRS module and lights up the 'service air bag' light. The airbag on the passenger side becomes disabled once this light is illuminated. This can pose an increased risk of injury to the passenger in an accident. The same problem has occurred in other cars with the airbag sensor brand/type - including the Cadillac cts- these were recalled. Why has the Saturn not been recalled if it is the same part? please look into this issue before people get hurt or killed!

My wife's 2007 Saturn Sky passenger service air bag indicator and air bag warning light is on and stays on. I was told unless this is fixed (for a cost of about $900) the air bag will not deploy in case of an accident. The GM dealer that looked at the Sky said "passenger seat sensor is out again." Not good that GM does not care if young kids that ride with their grand mother gets fatally injured in a car accident. (no air bag will deploy). Maybe a GM executive would care more if one of their kids or grand kids would be riding in a car that has a faulty air bag issue. This issue is happening on most of the Saturn Sky vehicles. Just give a recall - do the right thing!

Takata recall.the air bag service light came on. My vehicle has that device and it is not included on the recall. I would like to know if and when this will be added to the recall. If not I need to know the reason why not for my lawyer. I understand its going to cost me $1000 to replace their defective device. Please let me know. Thank you.
