TT: After a heavily discharged ?dead? battery or jumpstart, you may encounter a condition where the vehicle does not move in reverse.
This condition can occur when the vehicle?s battery cannot provide sufficient energy/voltage ~12 Volts to power the automatic transmission solenoid.
No transmission repairs should be attempted for this condition if normal operation is restored after the battery is properly charged.
