Summary
TSB: In some cases, iA vehicles may exhibit an ?Invalid SD Card? error message on the navigation display when an SD card has been exchanged between head units. This may be caused by the SD card becoming VIN-locked. The SD card will VIN-lock when either of the below conditions are met: -After the first installation of a new SD card and the vehicle has been driven approximately 60 miles. -If the card is removed from a vehicle (under the 60-mile threshold) and then inserted into a different vehicle. The SD card is then VIN-locked to the new vehicle. Note: Even if the SD card has not traveled a total of 60 miles, putting it into a different vehicle will VIN-lock the card to the new vehicle.
