The left rear seat belt webbing is starting to fray on it's edge. This is preventing the belt from rolling in and out of the retractor.

When utilizing latch system my other children can't access their safety belts in back seat.

Driver's side sun visor started to fall apart around March 2011, it became safety issue as it failed to stay in stowed position and was only matter of time before it fell off altogether. Went to dealer to buy replacement at cost of $121.85. Now passenger side visor is doing the same thing and will have to be replaced soon. Also rear lap seat belt is unserviceable due to locked-in retracted position.

I got a case number from Toyota, Toyota told me that the only way my air bag will deploy is that the motor would have to be in the car dash board to protect the driver. So she knows that the car air bag was working properly.

While driving 2007 Toyota Camry, the car was pulling to the left. I tried to control the car. The steering wheel locked up, the car went out of control. Spinning and hitting the guard rail twice. The air bag didnt deployed, and the seat belt didnt hold or lock me into place while it was on. When the car came to a complete stop I turn the vehicle around from the on coming traffic, the brakes was giving out and the car was still steering to the left. I ended up in a ditch on the guard rail.

Seat belt failure!!! got in the car and tried to put on seat belt and it will not retract far enough to connect.

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry lxe. A driver decided to move into my lane from the left, to avoid a serious collision I had to swerve to the right and hit the brakes. My anti-lock brakes locked and I had no control over the car as we skidded across four lanes and hit a concrete wall. The air bags did not deploy and the seat belts (which were in use) did not lock us in. My wife hit the inside ceiling and the right window of the front door. I tried to find an attorney to go after Toyota but could not find one who had the guts to stand up to Toyota. There was over $14,500 in repairs and as of today they are still putting the car back together again.

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the drivers side sun visor flipped down and struck her in the face while obstructing her vision. The dealer was notified and stated that the sun visor needed to be replaced. The passenger side sun visor also experienced the same failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 44,000. Updated 09/27/11 the consumer stated the vehicle has other issues such as the trunk release not working as well as the seat belt being inoperative. (daughter wrote in on behalf of her mother, who is the owner of the vehicle) updated 11/02/11

2007 Toyota Camry. Back seatbelts "lock" while driving. My children sit in booster seat and use shoulder belt. We will be driving and they will lock where they can not move. We have to undo seatbelt, pull out a little and then it will retract. This has happened frequently and not in response to sudden stop. 3/14/10 one of the seatbelts in back did this and it will not come unlocked. The dealer is going to replace the entire seatbelt but it seems odd that this happens with all the belts. We do not feel confident they will work properly if there were and accident. With recent recalls related to possible mechanical and brake system thought it should be reported.

The contact has a 2007 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that if you adjust the seat for a taller person, the seat belt does not adjust and secure the passenger or drive and remained loose. The seat belt has malfunctioned since the vehicle was purchased. The current mileage was 67000.

On more than occasion the drivers side seat belt has become inoperable. It appears that it does not retract properly and will not release so that the driver can put it on. After several hours or days it will finally retract and begin to work again. This problem was reported to the dealer and was working when we took it in. Nothing was done. It is going in again because it is happening more often and lasting longer.
