Takata recall we have a 2009 and a 2011 Corolla under recall for fixing passenger side airbags. It has been 10 months since the original notice and we have not been contacted for a fix. Since the airbag can be deadly if deployed, this is totally unacceptable and we have not heard from Toyota in a long time about it. Please help. Thank you. Takata recall. I have been under the takata recall since June of 2016 and I have been in a rental car provided by Toyota since September 2016. It's been almost a year since the recall for my car has been issued and I haven't heard anything about a remedy for it. I'm hoping to hear something on whether or not it's going to be fixed anytime soon since I am still making payments on my car and would like to be able to drive it safely. I would also not like to be in a rental for another 6 months or longer waiting on this recall.

Takata recall: As the owner of a vehicle affected by this current and serious recall, I have to describe how disappointing it has been to barely hear anything from Toyota to keep owners informed. I've probably received only 2, at most 3, letters of info in the last almost 10 months. I've had to drive my vehicle around for almost a year now, almost 12 months, with no rememdy still to replace this hazardous equipment.

Takata recall I just spoke with a customer service representative and they informed that my safety recall will be able to be fixed in December of 2017. It is absolutely absurd that I have to wait until the end of the year for a safety recall. Safety recall as in it could endanger the life of any passenger with me!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I don't have my VIN handy for this email. My vehicle is under recall for the takata air bag. Currently it is at the dealer for repair. Toyota Corp. Has informed me that repair may not be complete until possibly December 2017. They have provided me a loaner. Unfortunately, though I am hesitant to have someone else's vehicle for 9 months and having be responsible for it. In addition my car will be at the dealership laying idle for 9 months which is not good for the car. I have made contact again with Toyota Corp. To buy the car back, but they are refusing. I explained to them that I am under the understanding that repairs to the vehicle have to be made within a reasonable time, and 9 months is not reasonable. Is there any recommendation you may have for me moving forward or is there any recourse of action I may have.
