Takata inflators the dealer told me today ( 3/16/2017 ) that I have to wait until December 2017 for a remedy. This is not acceptable and unrealistic to not have a passenger in the front seat for almost a year. Come on now, let's get this fixed by summer as heat and humidity can cause the air bag to inflate. The dealer does not know, Toyota mfg. Does not know. Someone needs to speed up this process so we do not have to drive months in a unsafe car. I am going to go to the press and news outlets and report this issue and what is taking so long and allowing Toyota owners to continue to drive in unsafe cars. I will never buy another Toyota again. This is the fifth recall I have had on my vehicle. Poor customer service and no quallity control on what they sell.
