Because Toyota choose to not do a safety test on roll over in this car they took the easy way out and did not make the seatbelt with pretension to lock you in place in a crash. Therefore, their negligence contributed to the death of my daughter. Her seat belt did not lock her into place in a rollover crash and she died due to blunt force trauma to the head. She had over 15 cuts and bruises to her head and face, marks down her shoulder and chest from the seat belt. If the seat belt would have locked her into place then she would probably still be alive today, Not one single air bag deployed in that crash as well.

No lawyer wants to take on Toyota because of the simple fact that they cannot prove what actually caused the crash. A crash is a crash, what caused it at this point is irrelevant, what is relevant is the fact that the car that my daughter was driving was not a safe vehicle to be on the road because the manufacture took the cheap way out to build their car. We wear our seat belts to save our lives, but what we don't know is the vehicle we are driving actually equipped with the right seat belt to do that or one to just meet the minimum required standards, and why are those are so minimum to start with, after all we are talking about our lives here and the lives of our loved ones.

No-one really knows what caused the crashed, there is speculation that a tire blew out causing her to loose control of the car on a curve, But then again, that is too hard to prove so we can't do anything about it. Well, I am here to tell you that I am not going to stop and until something is done about these seat belts. I do not wish any other mother to have to feel the way I feel every day.
