The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that the air bag warning lamp remained on after having repairs performed for recall NHTSA campaign number: 14V168000 (air bags). In addition, the contact was concerned for his safety since the parts were still not available in order to do repairs for recall NHTSA campaign number: 14V169000 (seats). The vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 32,000.

The contact owned a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that the driver was driving 50 mph when another vehicle crashed into the driver's vehicle, causing the vehicle to crash into a cement wall. None of the air bags deployed and the front passenger seat belt failed during the crash. The crash caused head, neck, and chest injuries to the driver, front passenger, and rear passenger. The vehicle was destroyed. The police were contacted and a report was taken. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop. The manufacturer was contacted.
