The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact received NHTSA campaign number: 14V168000 (air bags) and NHTSA campaign number: 14V169000 (seats) and stated that it had surpassed the reasonable amount of time for the repair. The dealer stated the remedy to repair the failure was not available; furthermore, they could not provide an estimated that the vehicle would be repaired. The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, another vehicle suddenly crashed into the rear of the vehicle. Upon impact, the air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained a minor head injury. A police report was filed. The vehicle was completely destroyed and towed to a salvage facility. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The failure mileage was unavailable.

The contact owned a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that the driver was driving 50 mph when another vehicle crashed into the driver's vehicle, causing the vehicle to crash into a cement wall. None of the air bags deployed and the front passenger seat belt failed during the crash. The crash caused head, neck, and chest injuries to the driver, front passenger, and rear passenger. The vehicle was destroyed. The police were contacted and a report was taken. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop. The manufacturer was contacted.
