(Update Programming - MIL ON, DTC P240F Stored in ECM Fault Memory):
The following fault code (P240F) may be stored in the ECM Fault Memory concerning
(Exhaust Gas Recirculation Slow Response). This document informs that the Diagnostic strategy is too sensitive when addressing this issue. The production to address this issue was Improved ECM software to address MIL ON complaints. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
