Tech Tips (Alternative (Second) Speed Display):
This document informs that an Alternative (or second) speed display is available to show the vehicle speed in units other than the units shown on the vehicle?s speedometer. If the vehicle?s speedometer shows mph, the alternative speed display will show a digital readout of the current vehicle speed in km/h. The alternative speed display is shown in place of the odometer reading only when the vehicle is moving. To activate the alternative speed display, use the procedure within this document.
